another way | | I've made jalapeno poppers with cream cheese and sausage (cooked) then mixed together. I was in a hurry and used canned jalepenos, already sliced in half.
Drain the can, put cream cheese mixture on each jalapeno half (can also add garlic powder to cream cheese, and chives) ... and put into fridge.
These are cold, can be made ahead, and make great appetizers (be aware that the canned versions vary in 'heat'. I've had some that I can't eat!
