The sugars are from the naturally occurring sugars in the tomatoes and cheese. Splenda is not sugar, but a sugar substitute. Looks OK, but I bet you could find a regular spaghetti sauce--maybe an organic one that just uses pure ingredients with no added sweeteners-- and you could avoid the Splenda. You may want to look around. The Carb Options line and others like it are really just trying to make a buck by taking advantage of the low-carb craze. Seems to me they could leave out the Splenda completely--the rest of the ingredients would make a fine sauce on their own.JMO
