Any low-carb candy has some sugar alcohol from what I have seen. Sugar alcohols are bad, but not forbidden. If you use these products for their intended function, as very rare treats once on the proper stage of the diet (say, maybe one bar every other week once you are on OWL, maybe a little more once on LM) they don't pose a risk. It is those thinking they can eat them every day or every other day and pig out on them that have issues.
