An egg has a little more protien than fat, so it is not the best choice. You are already drinking a protien shake, and if you consume too much protien at once, your body will convert it to sugar. A piece of cheese might be a better option.
Are you exercising at the time you drink the protien shake? If so, your body will be using some of the protien right away and the concern of conversion to sugar is not as great. |
