Re: Help!!!! | | I can't clean out my kitchen either since the kid's would have a revolt over their lunches. That said, their lunches have always been super healthy because I am sneaky! For me it helps to keep that stuff out of my sight and when I am fixing something I can't have I remind myself why I "don't want" to eat any. Since I started doing that I haven't cheated at all.
Also, there was a great article on cnn (or maybe it was nytimes) about how our eating habits are based on what is easily acceptable because of natural biological urges. Scientists did some really interesting experiments, for one experiement they took a box of chocolates in an office environment and counted how many had been eaten over time. Then they moved the box closer to the cubes by only a few feet and the numbers eaten went way up. Keep your allowable snacks close by and the junk way in the back of the cupboard! |
