Default Totally confused and certain i've screwed up already!

Hey all
Just recieved my Atkins cook book and Atkins carb counter book and it's totally confused me!
up til now I've been looking at the back of my Atkins revolution book to work out carbs and weights of veg, and in the cook book it says you can have 3 servings!
So what i've had veg wise each day is lettuce 75g, pepper 40g, cucumber, 30g, broccoli 2 bits, cauliflower 2 bits!
So do i continue looking at carb counter and adding it up OR just have 3 servings or recommended weights? and if i do have 3 servings how do i know how many carbs i'm having!??
As you can see i'm totally confused!
