Default Re: Insulin Injection Pens?

Hi David! I am a type 1 diabetic and I currently use the Humalog Insulin Pen. I am pretty knowledgeable about the disease, and other then the insulin pump I am unaware of anything smaller, and more convenient, then the pen. Of course, there are so many things out there now being developed or trying to gain FDA approvals that who knows what is in the future. I have the pump, but have decided to stay with the pens (I take 2 insulins, a short acting and fasting acting). I have much better control with the pen. I also take my shots in my stomach rather then my thighs or arms...it really doesn't hurt. I know it doesn’t sound pleasant, but you should really try it. Hope this helps some.
