Default Re: Never ending induction recipes

Had this for breakfast today. Found it in the recipe section from MotherEarth aka Sherri. I would say that the texture/look may be something to get used to the first time for some. Next time I will save the cream for on top after it has been cooked..makes it feel more hot cereal like. But I would add an extra Tbsp of water as I think that it needs the liquid if you don't add the cream in. I added sweetner. Quite yummy.

I make hot flaxmal cereal all the time. If you have whole flax seed, just mill it in a coffee grinder.
3 TBLS. flaxmeal
1 Tbls. cream
1/4 cup water
1 tbls. butter
Sweetner if you choose
Microwave for 1 minute and 20 seconds on high

NOTE: See Elizellen's comment below..flax is limited on induction.

You may encounter many defeats, but you must not be defeated. In fact, it may be necessary to encounter the defeats, so you can know who you are, what you can rise from, how you can still come out of it. ~Maya Angelo~
