Hi everyone,
Today is my first day on the Atkins diet so I look forward to this journey with the rest of you. I was so shocked when I saw this thread and to see so many others starting the same time as myself. I was hoping to find some kind of support because I catch major **** from my mother who I would think would be the biggest supporter of my life.

I'm even more shocked to see that I am not the only one suffering from a terrible headache. I usually don't get them but I got one today, a really bad one. It's almost like my body is having a fit because it knows, no more sweet sweets. I thought it was from stress. Well, for breakfast I ate a turkey bacon, sauted onion, and cheese omlette and that held me all day. For lunch I had a grilled chicken salad (I hate salad). Tonight I'll do a veggie medley and probably chicken again. I'm not a big red meat eater.
