August 6th!
Four weeks from today ... ugh ... I shudder to think of it ...
The doctor called today to tell me the details....totally immobile for 2-3 weeks (if you try to walk on it, it will only delay the recovery) OKAY OKAY .. I promise: I WILL NOT TRY TO WALK ON IT ... I told the nurse "I NEED A FAST RECOVERY, THEREFORE I WILL DO WHATEVER IT TAKES..."
8-10 weeks in a cast ...
The *only* thing that is getting me through is imagining running that March 1, 2009 marathon PAIN-FREE!!! OMG, that would be so so wonderful!
