Default The crab thing

My family loves this and I never know what to call it since I use it different ways so my family just say, "would you make that crab thing you always make?" so I guess that's what to call it.

So easy too.
1 cup crab meat, cleaned (you can use canned)
1 3 oz pkg cream cheese, softened
mayo (start with 1/4 cup)
onion powder
cayenne pepper to taste
dash Worchestershire sauce
1 Tbsp chopped green onion or chive
1/2 c shredded mild cheddar

Mix everything except the chives and cheddar in a bowl. It should be like a soft paste. If too thick add some more mayo or a little heavy cream. Spread in a shallow baking dish and top with cheese. Bake at 350 (180 c or Gas mark 4) until warmed through and cheese melts and starts to turn golden. Remove from oven and let stand 10 minutes.

I serve it with celery, red pepper scoops, or endive hearts. I also serve it over plain baked fish fillets or roll it up inside them. When you get to the point of having low carb tortillas it makes a great roll up filling too. It is also great for a party serves with traditional breads and crackers for your non Atkins guests.
