I do want to add a tidbit I learned yesterday. I was taking a class for fat metabolism and insulin resistance (I'm IR) and the nutritionist stressed something over and over again. She said try not to eat atleast 2 hours before bed time. I noticed that you said you snack in the evenings - I am an evening-snacker, as well, so it will take some work to not eat two hours before bed. She said that some of her clients have lost weight JUST by doing that one thing. Pretty cool!
