Default Re: My TMI update!! (errr) And coconut milk!!

just a couple of things:

1. I think your ballet teacher is a nut---a very dangerous nut.

You are a ballet dancer. I would assume you are in very good physical condition. Therefore for you the BMI is useless because BMI doesn't take muscle into account at all. For you a better indicator of fitness and appropriate weight would be % body fat. There's a HUGE difference between a person with a BMI of 25 but has a % body fat of 30 and a person with a BMI of 25 but a % body fat of 12.

2. Your "floppy legs"

Maybe it's because you aren't eating enough calories/food to sustain your dancing. Maybe it's because you are losing muscle. Whatever its cause, you shouldn't be feeling "floppy" or weak. We have ADBBers who run marathons, they don't report feelings of "floppy legs" or weakness.

3. Your constipation

I noticed in your previous threads you are in OWL Phase. By the time you get to OWL phase, you should be eating enough veggies that fiber supplementation is usually unnecessary.
