Re: To my American friends! | | there use to more than what there is at present. we used to have some good pastas [but they quit carrying them] and spag. sauce [which they quit carrying], we have tortillas if you like that kind of thing. of course the bars and shakes as mentioned above are stocked to the limit. you can find breads at most local markets and hoods calorie countdown milk. you can find alot of sugar free products but again, you must read labels to see what you buying. we had a nice yogurt that was very low in carbs and of course, they quit carrying that too. i think it was put out by Blue Bunny.
the spaghetti sauce that i buy is found at one of our local mennonite markets. no sugars, no preservatives and really really good. we get whole wheat pasta there too.
sadie147 [also from canada] comes across the border and stocks up from to time. she buys grits when she's here in the US.
