you are doing quite well and please don't get discouraged if the weight loss slows now that you are in your second week--most likely you will have ebbs and flows, most of us have. Try not to get too worked up like I did! Get your tape measure and really use that as your tool and try on clothes, that beyond everything else is a great motivator for me! Heck, I was feeling really blue today about my weight and not looking perfect, blah blah blah so I went to the department store and just started trying on clothes. I was so excited to see that since I began this program in July, I have gone from a size 12 to a size 8--now that made me feel quite happy! From one carb junkie to another, hang in there, ok?
