Ok...I was at the doctor...had blood work done.....I knew somthing was really wrong, no energy, crazy thirsty(But I always drank a lot of water) , FOUL smelling urine for about the last 2 mo's or so. I never had a sugar problem till now...BAD 340 !!
when I was on atkins 8 yrs ago it was like 80 !!!!! Well My father was killed by his Dr from the diabetes med's( was ion the news) So I explained this to my doctor and basically let him know that I would only do meds as an ABSOLUTE last option. And I was going back on atkins for 5-6 weeks and he can re check my blood. Will 5-6 weeks on induction lower my sugar ??? I know I'm gonna get flack but the REAL solution is Gastric tube surg (FOR ME). But I have to wait 6 mo's (insurance reason) so I'll have a dietition for 6 mo's. I am also doing about 30-45 of light cardio 4-6 days a week. I am at 1 week and down about 12lbs. Hoping to lose 35 by week 5-6. Some good news though...Crazy thirst and stinky pee are gone
