Radish are a 'two cup' veggie. Very low in carbs.
I quarter one cup of radishes, and either fry a couple of slices of bacon or use some leftover bacon fat from the morning. Heat the fat in the skillet and add the radishes. As the radishes start to brown, add about 2 Tbsp of diced onion of for added flavor. They are done when soft enough to fork, and don't take as long as you might think.
There is no 'bite' left to the radishes once cooked, just a slight sweetness that pairs with the bacony flavor. |
