I will eat an entire half gallon of ice cream in a day...even a few hours and a whole cake...because the sugar keeps screaming at me "more more eat more of me"!!!!

I recently started attending a narcotics anonymous meetings to support a friend of mine who has stopped using drugs. I go with her and help keep her accountable. I can tell you that sugar is a drug. Thoes eaddicts in those meetings dont have any problem different than mine, they just choose a different substance to abuse and to get hooked on.

Sugar and carbs (the addiction) is robbing me of happiness and destroying my life, my health and my self esteem. So I think once my friend has completed her narcotics meetings, I am going to join an OA (overeaters anonymous) group. When I joined this forum a few years ago I alomost reached my goal and I was happier and felt better than I had in 10 years....and because I invited sugar back into my diet I am right back where I was....

So no more sugar for me......when I chose my user name "sugarfreeone" I mean it then...I mean it now....Sugar is evil!~

SugarFreeOne...

As I read your words I felt like I was reading the thoughts in my mind. I am EXACTLY like that too!

I have decided to eliminate all sweets from my life once and for all. I just can't even give into it anymore...it's making miserable and it's sabotaging anything good that I want in life, especially to get past Induction. So, 3 days ago I joined the "No Sweets Challenge". I know that it takes about 30 days to begin to break addictions, but one thing is for sure this will half to be a LIFEstyle change for the rest of my life. I KNOW I CAN NEVER HAVE SUGAR AGAIN.

We can do this y'all. We are worth it!
