I am hoping to have more energy befor long to start exercising again, at least walking. At this point I am trying to force myself to at least a little. I am on my first day and so far so good. One thing I don't want to give up is my coffee, I only drink one to two cups in the morning but I like it with cream and sugar. Since I can't have the sugar and don't like sweetner what about agave or xyncol sweetners? Are they O.K. on this diet or do I need to find something else? I have never been on a bulletin board befor so I am a little lost on this also. It has been encouraging so far.
Hi there and welcome! Lots of info and encouragement here ... you've come to the right place Check in often; read everything and ask questions; join in the challenges, if you can. It all helps!

RE: Sweeteners ... pretty sure agave nectar is not allowed; "xyncol" isn't ringing a bell. If you don't like Splenda (I don't either), you might try Stevia instead. I found that by day 4 of Induction, my sugar craving went away, as if by magic! Hang in there

And congrats on losing eight pounds ... that's a good beginning! You don't need me to tell you exercise will rev up your metabolism ... you already knew that

Anyhoo ... once again, welcome!
