At first it was, "Yeah. I've heard you say that before.
." Then it was "Well, I can see a bit of a difference.", followed by a "We'll see how long this lasts!

Lots of times no one said anything at all and I'd get

Soon it was, "
Wow. You look great!" and "How are you doing it?" along with, "You can't eat like that forever.

Pretty soon some of the friends didn't
or visit so much.
and I was really hurt.
And the hubby was always
along the way.
Not long after that it was, "
Holy cow!! Where did the rest of you go?!" and "You HAVE to tell me your secret!". The snarky ones started with the, "You don't need to lose any more. You look like ****.
."
Here I am, with 6 1/2 years of Atkins under my *much* smaller belt and they no longer say, "You can't eat like that forever." or "Wonder how long *that's* gonna last."
The best part? I don't give a
what any of them say. The ones that count love me no matter what size my
is and respect the time, dedication and effort that went into getting healthier than *all* of them.
