I was bugging on this yesterday... looking at recent photos where, to me, still looked as fat as ever. A friend said 'take a look at 30 pounds of hamburger (45+ in your case!) and see if that doesn't seem like a lot. So when I went to the market I picked up 6 five pound tubes of ground beef, and dam! it was heavy, and looked like a lot! And all that was on me! So I felt better. And I know some of it was nasty fat surrounding my innards. Go try it!
And it's true about getting closer to 200... my daughter went from 215 to 195, and just twenty pounds on her is phenomenally noticable. Myself, having gone from 285 to 255, well, no one is running up to me telling me how fabulous I look. YET.
