Thanks again everyone! After getting on the scale this morning and seeing one pound come back on, I've decided to avoid the scale until next Tuesday morning. I know that it's easy for weight to slide a pound or two one way or the other based on water retention, but it messes with my mind so I'm going to avoid daily weighing.

I'm going to make Tuesday mornings my "weigh days." I'm also thinking about going to buy a scale that measures to the tenth of a pound. My current scale rounds off to the half pound and seems to flip-flop a lot.
Cinnamonstick, You and I seem to be very similar in the amount of weight we want to lose and the speed with which we're losing it. Also, I'm on Day 17 so we're about at the same spot. My hunger has decreased, but I've been wondering lately if my portion sizes may still be too big. We've had several dinners out over the last week for anniversaries, soccer team end of the season celebration, my mom in town for a visit, and other "life" activities. I order smart, but am not confident in what's in a dish unless I make it myself. I haven't lost any weight during week 3, but instead have gained one pound back. I was really hoping to lose 2 pounds during week 3, but that goal doesn't seem realistic based on what I've seen so far. Gosh, I hope I lose at least 1!!
