Most will find that their weight loss stalls when they start approaching goal, and moving up the rungs help them along. Good job with the exercise! I'm sure it will end up helping a lot in the long run. 23 lbs in 8 weeks would equal to roughly 2.8 lbs a week which is do-able. Have you measured your BMI? It would help to know within what weight range you are considered at a healthy weight, which will help you determine your goal. Don't get too set on a number, though, it's all about how you feel! I am personally on extended induction since I still have 50 lbs to lose.
