Have you ever tried false eyelashes? Acrylic Nails? What did you think of them?

I've had fake nails, they look pretty (as long as they are not ridiculously long) but they really mess up your real nails.

Fake eyelashes- Yep! I love 'em. They're tricky to get on though - whether you're doing a full set or just some little flirty fill-in ones. The glue's gotta be just right!

Fake nails- Done them. Hate them. I'm a picker, which is why I only wear clear polish on my nails. One chip, one flake and I'm relentless about getting it all off, the same goes for the acrylic/gel/whatevers. All I wind up doing is snapping them off (OUCH! That pressure point they build in there is painful!) or chipping them away.

Other- Not sure what ya mean by this, but probably. LOL

I love having arcylics....your nails look fantastic and are stronger than your normal nails

Drawbacks...1) Takes $$$ to keep them up...2) takes time to keep them up...3) You can't scratch normally (they are usually too thick) 3) they mess up your real nails pretty badly (it can takes months to re-grow normal nails after getting them off)

But they sure look nice ; )

I'd like to do false eyelashes more often...

When my DH was working the outages and I was stuck in the hotel room all day I'd buy a pack of those and play with make-up and stuff. I do better with the ones you put glue on rather than the self-adhesive. I couldn't get those to go on right and then they itched once I did have them on.

I've never tried the individual ones to put on. I wonder if that is harder to get right than the full set?

I am always concerned about getting the glue in my eyes...

Anyone else with experience? How 'bout you beauticians? Any tips?
