nah, I'm left handed too. I just cup the phone with my shoulder and write. Then my right hand is free to do whatever.....like flip off the person on the phone or scratch my eye.

At work it's easier to grab the phone with my right hand so I end up putting it to my right ear but outside of work I usually put it on my left ear, so I'm prety evenly split.
