| I picked "once a day" because you didn't have an option for "more than once a day"! |

| I chose "once a month", but things are a bit different when one is still in the weight loss phases and are anxious to see results. Back then I was regularily weighing every Sunday morning. Weighing more than once a week tends to get really depressing especially since our weight fluctuates so much depending on when we last ate, whether we're retaining water among a host of other reasons. Really though, you can weigh yourself as much as you want so long as not seeing the number you want on the scale doesn't discourage you and help convince you to just give up. The scale will not always be our friend, in fact it rarely is. Weight loss is as much a mental battle as it is a physical one. Now that I'm in maintenance I don't see the point of climbing on the scale that often. Once a month is enough to confirm that I'm still on track! Best of luck! ~Far la bella figura!

| Once a day here. It's encouraging to see some amount of difference, but I don't count my weight loss here until 7 days. |

| Once a day is a MUST for me. If I waited for once a week, I would spend the whole week deluding myself about how well I am doing and not stick to plan. For loss, for maitenence, for the rest of my life, I will have to weigh every day to succeed. Sounds extreme, but I know myself. I've keps 100lbs off for years now, and when did I gain a little back? This past Christmas when I stopped weighing myself. (luckily I caught myself in time, 10 lbs is easier to lose than 100!) I use weight commander to track everything, which gives you a running average as well as actuals, so you know when it's just a blip or a for-real trend. Which helps.

| I weigh myself everyday. That way I know I'm eating right, and it keeps me motivated. |

| I keep telling myself I'll only weigh once a week,,,,and I do only record once a week, but I end up weighing in almost daily. I put once a day on your survey, but it's more like once on monday, nothing on tuesday and wednesday, three times on thursday, and so on. I like to weigh every time I add a new food to see how/if it's affecting me, and I'll weigh several times over a couple of days to see if it did anything to my loss. It also keeps me inspired at the moment, as I'm doing better on the scale than I am with the tape measure |

| I weigh once a day, but only concentrate on the trend I get from averaging the results, weekly. My daily weight fluctuates a great deal, so a weekly average is more accurate.
