DH popped the question after dating 4 months. I told him that I needed to wait until we had been together for 1 year. Then when we were finally planning the wedding I just couldn't do it~~~I needed more time. So it was 2 yrs 2 months before we walked down the aisle. We have been married for 9 years!

1 year and 9 months. We met on a blind date. We met on 9/20/75, got engaged on 6/10/77 and married on 9/23/78, ergo, we will be celebating our 30th wedding anniversary in September!!
