Have you thought, really thought, of what commitment means? The Mirriam-Webster Dictionary site defines it this way:

com’mit’ment 2 a: an agreement or pledge to do something in the future; especially : an engagement to assume a financial obligation at a future date b: something pledged c: the state or an instance of being obligated or emotionally impelled <a commitment to a cause>

Marian Wright Edelman once said “You’re not obligated to win, you’re obligated to keep trying to do the best you can every day.

Dr. Atkins said, when speaking of his Nutritional Approach to lose weight and be healthy, “The truth is that as long as you are committed, it’s going to be surprisingly easy.”

The purpose of this challenge is to focus on YOUR COMMITMENT to yourself and your chosen way of eating and way of life.

Homework assignments will range from finding quotes, answering certain questions about your woe to making a plan for a successful journey. Making a commitment to this challenge will be time consuming and thought provoking but I can almost guarantee that, if you stay committed to it, the end result will be well worth it.
