it happens at different times for everyone. Some *like me* it happened in the very beginning, others it happens after the 2 weeks Its a good thing... even though it doesn't feel like it. Its your body shifting into a fat burning machine!

On day 7 I was still feeling like the dog's breakfast, but by the end of the two weeks I felt back to myself again. If you are still feeling poorly at the 14 day mark make sure you go see your doctor.

Hi Rocki005, :wave Welcome aboard! You've gotten some great advice but I just wanted to say hello and welcome. Plus assure you that you're not alone we've all been through Induction flu! Induction is really a phase of detoxification from not just carbs but sugar as well and for a lot of folks caffeine too. Withdrawal symptoms including fatigue, headaches, irritability, mood swings, nausea and others are by no means uncommon during this time. Uncomfortable for sure - but on the bright side it's proof that Atkins is already at work changing your body from an addicted fat storing mass to an efficient and free, fat burning machine. Of course if your symptoms persist beyond the two week induction or you feel they're too severe to handle always make it a point to get yourself checked out by your physician. Peter

Yep, they've said it all. Just hold on tight, take a couple tylenol if you have to, and especially DRINK WATER!!! This will flush out your system fastest and help conquer the withdrawals! And don't forget your suppliments! :guns

| I guess I had-have the flu then too....I just call it withdrawal symptoms. You are basically like a person who is going thru drug rehab! I had some headaches the first few days of induction, then it stopped and then yesterday, my 13th day of induction, I had another headache...so you see, it will come sporatically. Hope this helps and take care! Amanda
