| i'm not an expert but I do think you should count it. According to my Carb Counter, 1 oz of regular cheese is 0.5 carbs. So counting it as 1 carb should help you keep your cheese total for the day within the acceptable 4 oz limit per day. If you have chosen a lowfat cheese, the carb count is 2 carbs per 1 oz. So choosing a regular cheese is better than a lowfat cheese. i just love the irony of that. This WOE rocks! :joy |

| I can't quite see how a cheese could have no carbs, :confused so I'd count an ounce as 1 carb. Don't apologize for being picky about carbs...it's a good habit to have and it'll stand you well in the future. |

| also keep in mind that something that is 0.9 carbs they still count it as less than 1 carb.. so its best just to count it as 1 - plus for me it makes counting easier! |

| The labeling laws in the US are almost non-existent for carbs. Manufacturers are legally allowed to call a product with 0 to 0.499999 carbs as "0" and anything with 0.5 to 0.99999 carbs as "less than 1 carb". It's safer to count cheese as 1 carb for the above reason and for the reason if you aren't weighing your cheese, you might very well be eating 1 net carb.
