I went to google and typed Famous Dave's Rib Rub recipe. First item - brown sugar. So.....nope.

Checking out items ahead of time is actually a good habit to get into. Sit down one day when you have time and do a search on the restaurants that are your regular joints. Find out what you can eat and what you can't.
