| Good for you for tossing all that stuff out. Looks like you did some great soul searching too in terms of your health. I would suggest getting right back on the wagon in all ways...meaning don't go more than six hours without eating something. I'm not saying have a meal if you're not hungry, but you really want to get your blood sugar levels regulated especially after your little slide. I agree drink lots of water too. |

| Well..no, it's not really ok to not eat tomorrow. It would serve no purpose other than to mess up your blood sugars even further. Theres no point in punishing yourself like that..that's not what Atkins is about at all. The idea of Atkins is to keep your blood sugars stable, and it's recommended to eat at least every six hours. Just keep your menu simple, and have little meals throughout the day instead of sitting down to 3 squares. This has been a really good learning experience for you, hasn't it? That's a good thing...it really is :yes You stopped it after a few bites...which is better than crashing after a few days. I never thought I was an emotional eater until I understood all the levels of emotional eating. Atkins is an incredible eye opener, and SUCH a big emotional journey. Dust off, move on, and perhaps print out your post and keep it so that if you are ever tempted again, you can look at it and see how it made you feel. |
