| Hi Colin :wave Alot of people went through the same thing here,amazing isn't it,to go from one extreme to the other? But hungry or not,you still have to eat,instead of 3 bigger meals a day,try 4 or 5 smaller ones,you need the calories :yes and keep that blood sugar stable,and make sure you eat breakfast,even if its just to nibble on an egg. | Appetite suppression is a double edged sword. Some claim that this is the reason Atkins works - because we eat less. Don't fall into that trap. The side effect of ketosis is appetite suppression but you must fight through it and keep your calorie count up (over 1200). Agree with lowriders.. eat several smaller meals during the day and drink plenty of water. |

| isn't it great we get appetite suppression as a side effect of burning off our body fat! try to eat some carbs and some fats and proteins in smaller amounts throughout the day. you can select calorically dense foods to get your cals in. your body should respond in a couple of days with a hunger increase. Y So how is your exercise part of your Atkins going?

| I have to agree with the others...try to eat 4 to 5 smaller meals a day. That's what I do. Im not use to eating that many meals myself, but I keep them small. Hang in there! :hug |
