Default Starting Program on Monday!

I will be starting the Atkins program on Monday as I will be attending rehab and will be weighed there to see how my progress goes there and in this program. This will be my second attempt at rehab and will see how things go.

I think you are very wise to plan a start day and to get prepared instead of just diving in. If at all possible this is a good time to clean out your kitchen and get rid of everything not on the induction food list. Take your Atkins book to the grocery store on Sunday and stock up on good whole foods. Eggs, cheese, butter, meat, chicken, shrimp, salads, real dressings (just check the labels for the carb count) and lots of fresh veggies.

Stay away from anything LOW FAT. That stuff is full of carbs and sugar. :yikes

Update on my starting the program....After getting into the book and reading I think it would be wise to talk to my doctor and get some tests done for evaluating down the road on my progress and have an appointment on Monday and then on Wednesday I will start rehab and will get an accurate reading on my weight and BMI and hopefully will be starting the Atkin's program shortly after.....

Just want to feel right about all this and feel confident in my decision. Johnny :hug
