I'm on day 11. I haven't weighed myself since I started but my clothes are starting to feel a little looser! For the first few days I had headaches and a little weakness but I'm feeling great now. I had a little trouble with the amount of cardio I could do at the gym during the first few days but I just stuck with it and gradually increased the time. I am so proud of the fact that I have kicked my diet coke habit and have managed to stick exclusively to pure water the whole time. Cosomogirl, in a few days you will start to feel brilliant, I think perhaps your body is detoxing so just keep drinking loads of water to flush it all out. Well done on the 2.5lbs! :joy edit: I just noticed your Chihuahua forum link - I have a little smooth coat female so I might join!

hi, this is day 6 for me and I am feeling great!!! I have not gotten on the scale yet, tomorrow is the big day. I woke up yesterday and noticed that my tummy is much flatter! ( remember, I have been low carbing a while, and exercising as well, so this is my first hard core Atkins week, but not my 6th day of "dieting" ie results not typical---lol)I can't believe it. I am just finishing up my TOM too and I noticed I had more energy than ususal during this few days than I normally do. I usually find an excuse not to exercise, well last night I was doing my Tae bo 9pm-10pm. :yikes This after staying up the night before to go see the 12:01 showing of Star Wars with my hubby and 3 & 4 year old(got home at 3am), and potty learning my 3 year old all day. Whew, just reading that last week would have made me tired. I can't believe the energy this WOE gives you. KEEP UP the Good Work Everyone.!!!!! I will check in tomorrow after I weigh in.

This is day 5 for me. After drinking so much water for 5 days Isee a chnge in my skin tone... much nicer. I haven't weighed my self yet. I'm trying to avoid the scale at all costs for 2 weeks. I had a terrible headache on Tuesday but I feel great since! I am very motivated to get these extra 20 lbs. off. I think my co-workers are getting sick of seeing me in the same shlepy clothes. Thee are 2 no-nos that I haven't stopped doing though. I dring 1 cup of 1/2 caffine coffee a day and I have 3 strips of bacon every morning with my eggs but otherwise I'm on track.

| I'm on day 10, I weighed in today and have lost 10lbs. Still holding strong...it's probably water weight, but at least the scale is going down. My pants are loser, I can tell already. My shoes are loser as well.

Wow, I'm excited for all of you that you are doing so well! :joy Cosmogirl, that fatigue and yukky stuff should be gone in a day or two..it's normal, we call it Induction Flu. I was still sick on day 7 :yikes but by day 14 I felt completely myself again. A reminder to read all the stickys in this, and any other forum you go to as they contain lots of good info and reassurance that what you are going through is normal. Please pass it along to others to read the stickys too! :yes All the best to you!

Hi to everyone Reading the responses I seem to have come off fairly light... I did have a headache from day 1 until yesterday afternoon and I think I'm starting a cold (probably nothing to do with Atkins everyone around me is sneezing) but other than that I feel so much better. My stomach feels flatter, tho it sure doesn't look it :sarcasm . I don't know about weight loss as my scales are so damned unreliable. I'm just carrying on and will see if my clothes get looser. Did get a shock when I got on my "unreliable" scales yesterday, 198lbs! That means if I want to get back to my "ideal" weight of 25 years ago I'm only two pounds short of being able to join the Century Club which is a shame! Can't see me doing that though, I've had a child since then!
