Default ohhh my stomach!

This is my third day of induction and I know I am in ketosis this morning because my stomach is doing serious flips....man I am super nauseated!!!!!!!!!! I have had this symptom from ketosis before so I know it is this.

What can I do to help this? It took all my effort to eat this morning. I made the flax bread (the one posted a few threads down) and put laughing cow cheese on it. I am sitting here taking deep breaths and want to curl up in a ball....however my 2 and 3 year olds think otherwise!

Any tips for nausea????????!!!!!!! urplequ:

Drinking ice cold water works well for me. You might also add a drop of oil of oregano to it for a kind of a minty/spicy kick. Atkins likes OoO and it can be found at Wally World (WalMart)

Hang in there, dear! :hug I know it is quite awful for some ppl, especially if your previous diet was high in junk carbs (mine sure was!). I definitely feel your pain about the toddlers, as I have one adorable and super crazy little two-year-old myself!

Try to rest as much as can. You might want to try peppermint herbal tea, as peppermint is a tummy soother.

You are almost to the glorious "feel good" stage, so hang in there!

I am trying the water only because I do not have the oil reccomended....but man o man it is getting really bad! I can barely move!

I grabbed my book and tried finding anything on it but no luck so I just popped in to see if there were any more ideas.....

Thank you for the peppermint tea idea...I think that could help and at least enjoyed. My brain is not even working...thankfully I have some in the house because the though of even going upstairs to get it is painful!

:help

tea has some chemicals in it that settle tummies too that is why it is the T in the BRAT diet docs prescribe.

this could also be a symptom of low blood sugar. if you can try to eat a bit more to get your blood sugar stable.
