| Get your own ranch dressing as McD's loads their dressings with sugar that is why it has so many carbs. |

| So I'm starting day 5 of induction. Should I weight myself at the end of the first week or after the 2 weeks of induction? I took my measurements before I started as well. Do I take them again at 1 week or 2 weeks? I've been restraining myself from getting on the scale. So far so good. I used to be one of those who weighed herself 3 times a day. It doesn't work. |

| Go to the McDonald's site and look up the salad. You can customize the foods so you can see what they nutritional info is http://www.mcdonalds.com/usa/eat/nutrition_info.html According to it , that salad has 9 net carbs, not including the dressing. the majority of the carbs seems to come from the chicken, which they inject with a sugar solution--per the ingredients. http://app.mcdonalds.com/bagamcmeal?process=details

| According to http://www.nutritiondata.com/facts-001-02s04tm.html the entire salad has 11 g of carbs and I know the dressing has 9 g because it comes in a pouch that states the breakdown. Is that site wrong? |

| yep, bring your own dressing. you can find some of the regular ceaser dressings have 0-1 carb per serving. Even ranch you can find for 1 carb per 2 TS if you look. I spent 15 minutes in the dressing section of the store reading every single label...Do that and you'll realize how different the carb counts can be for the same taste. For me? 3 carbs for dressing is too much when I only get 20. That could be a few extra cheese stix or some thing. FYI - I also remember hearing that fast food chains inject the chicken with a sugar based maranade to make it taste better. Hope that helps? I looked at your link. I could be wrong but I want to say that carb count does not include dressing? that's usually extra. It looks like it has 3 fiber so I'd count the whole salad as 8 carbs plus the dressing.

| I would go more by the McDonald's site than by that other one.

| So I went to the Mc Donald's Corp. site. If you go to it, they have a food calculator. You have to add the salad, then add the dressing seperatly.
