    Default not much weight loss on 14 day induction

    hi! newby here but not to Atkins...I have done Atkins before with much success. I started the induction on 12/26 and have only lost 2 lbs...I don't know what I'm doing wrong...any ideas???

    Not sure what might be going on i'm new also just started Jan6th, but I know you must write food down and keep a journal and read your book all the way through, I am a slow loser myself but i know its because i wasn't logging my foods in the beginning, i was just doing the best i could do and wasnt ready for all the rules, later I got sick but am now following all the rules and have lost 10lbs .....

    You'd need to give a detailed menu (down to specific amts) of a day or so in order for us to help you identify problem areas.

    U really must read the beginner rules on this board and read your book, read a little more everyday, its not an easy journey but DO you Really want this? I think you need to eat only meat, eggs, and 1 cup of salad for 2 days and see how you feel. Nothing else, no nuts, sugar, or things that have hidden sugars. U must educate yourself on this diet or things will not work, i learn something new everyday.......please take me seriously and start reading.

    hahaha! I already have my Atkins book in hand!! already found a few things...I was having 1-2 coffees/day(only w heavy cream and stevia but NOT decaf!) too much cheese, and prob too many veggies...the only reason I've lasted this long on Atkins is bc I feel good...not swollen and bloated...but this past weekend I lost it and ate like crap...so need to start from scratch. grrr. tonite i made "pancakes" and bacon. the pancakes: 2 eggs, 2oz cream chz, cinnamon, vanilla and baking powder...in a blender...on a griddle...topped w sf syrup and butter...legal rite??

    what may have been may not be what you experience now. but one thing you should do is make sure you are following the rules of induction. vegetables are an important item especially during induction.

    A detailed menu of your typical day helps.
    many people here have gone through induction and have experience with what works or not so people will chime in with suggestions.

    Your breakfast was legal.
    it is not something I would make - unless I was celebrating something - because the combination of cream cheese and sweeteners gets my cravings going. But I am sure other people would just be fine.
