Default I Fell Off The Horse!

Okay so I fell off the proverbial horse for two weeks. I've been bingeing MAJORLY.

So here's my question. I'm ready to get back on. Do I weigh myself tomorrow a.m. with measurements or do I wait a couple of days for the bloat to go down/weight to steady? Any advice?

I would begin with "forgive thyself". Give yourself a 2 weeks to 'de-tox' before considering either weighing or measuring.

As an example: let's say you didn't gain any weight or you gained a pound. You might say, "Hey! I don't need Atkins!" And then spiral downwards into donut ****.

Let's say you gained 10 pounds. That could be water weight and some fat coming back to pay you a visit. You beat yourself up and that's no good either.

If it was 2 weeks you spent off the wagon, give yourself 2 weeks on before you weigh or measure. Who knows? Maybe the Whooshie Fairy will even bop you down a few extra pounds for your diligence.

Sassy, let me tell you, when that dang horse bucked me off a few times during my Atkins journey, I binged like there was no tomorrow! I bit the bullet and weighed and measured because I think it is a good kick in the shorts to know what I did to myself, what going off Atkins does to myself, basically.

Yes, it is depressing to see the needle on the scale so dang high, but that's what a high carb/high fat combo diet does to ya. The good thing is, a clean Induction will whip you into shape very fast, and those pounds will come off quickly (which will make you feel better). Be ready for some Induction flu. Do it now, because if you wait longer, it will be really hard to get back on track and you will add more fat pounds (NO!).

You can do it!!!

P.S....Do you want the image of your weight ticker in you sig line? If so, you need to put the image brackets around the address, not the URL brackets. Like this... If you need more help, let me know!

The horse was the biggest one I've ever seen in my life! Well, the biggest two-week period horse ever!

I suppose that I should focus on the positive: the positive is that it's only been 2 weeks and not 2 months or 2 years, etc. I've gone "OFF" on binges before that have lasted for months so I suppose 2 weeks isn't horrendous.

So I have one vote for give yourself a kick in the pants weigh in and one for give yourself two weeks. Hmmmmm. Okay, I will see how I feel in the a.m. and decide then. I'll let you know how it goes.

I'll post some pics later too b/c you can really see my progress (SAW the progress!).

First realise what progress you made and decide if it was worth the binge? Before I use to get emotionally stressed out and would eat like there was no tommorow, now I throw another 45lb weight on the bar and slug out a few more squats just because i am pissed! Its like Dr. Phil says, you gotta replace something with something.....

Oh my, I did not just quote Dr. Phil. :no
