Default Chuckie Cheese's.....help

Tomorrow me and my family are going to a birthday party to Chuckie Cheese and I don't know what to do. I am going to get SOOOOO tempted to eat some pizza. Especially since it will at 12pm (lunch time) Any advice?

I always eat just the toppings and leave ALL the crust behind.

What about the tomato paste thats used? Do you think that'll kick me out of Ketosis? Or should I just go to Hardee's before hand and eat the Carb burger just to play it safe?

I believe they have a salad bar there so you can just load up on the veggies....order yourself a pizza without sauce just the toppings and cheese. You will be fine!

Try eating before you get there or if you don't mind, bring your own LC snacks with you.

Also another thing you can do is see if they sell salad there, they should.

Don't let the 'mouse' (or is Chucky a rat?) get you off track! Have fun tomorrow!!

I feel your pain,lol.

Wednesday was my granddaughter's birthday and it was at Chuck E Cheese too. I ate a big plate of salad from the salad bar and drank caffeine free diet Pepsi.

I think I was there for a party, maybe it wasn't that place...games and all that>??? If so, I had salad and chicken wings. I didn't even think the pizza looked that good. I really do not like chicken wings cause of the mess, but they were pretty good and more people ate off my plate than their own. not a bad price either!!

Oh, I love Chuck E. Cheese's!!!!!!! So great being around kids, and I even sit in the indoor playground whenever I eat at McDonald's, etc.

Iwillbethin had a terrific idea about ordering a pizza sans sauce and just eating the toppings. Though the rare times I eat pizza, I of course only eat the topics ... but I never thought about ordering it without the sauce! ensive Add a couple of trips to the salad bar and use regular dressing, and you'll have yourself a very impressively low-carb meal!

HAVE FUN!!!

By the way: the pizza sauce used in Papa John's pizza does not contain any sugar whatsoever. I called the establishment 2 years ago prior to ordering my pizza and asked them to read the ingredients on the jar to me. No sugar used at all - not even in the last ingredient(s). Good to know!

Thank you for pointing out that it is possible to get the info you need by phoning the establishment in advance. That is one thing many new Atkineers don't think of doing!!
BTW - for anyone 'having' to eat out and not sure what to choose, there is a sticky in this forum with websites of many food outlets in its second message at http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...ic.php?t=66383
Some websites even have a page where you can 'build' your meal and see the nutrition figures for your choice, and if not you could email or phone them to ask.

I'm wondering if the chicken wings are so messy because they're covered in sugary BBQ/hot/honey garlic sauce? If I have a craving for wings I always ask for the sauce on the side and may allow myself one or two tiny tiny dips. I did this last time on Atkins but have stayed away from the sauce completely this time - I don't want to risk even a little chance of a sugar response. Also make sure they aren't breaded. Of course I've never been to Chuck E Cheese, so just some theories. ensive
