| Well, first of all, you are sabotaging yourself by not letting people know that you are on this woe. At the VERY least, you can say you are "watching your carbs". If someone asks why, you can say that you are trying to tone your abs and this was recommended to you while you are doing the intensive workouts. Second of all, you cannot, simply cannot, go out and eat at regular places or go to parties unless you CAREFULLY pre-plan. Eat before, if you need to. Make sure there are high-fat, low carb foods available. Know what KIND of low carb high fat foods you can eat. Going to a pizza party? Eat the topping off the pizza ONLY. Going to a pot luck? Look for the salads and meats. Now, pull it together and restart induction! You can do it! Sorry to be tough, but you need to be able to rely on your own common sense and assertiveness to succeed here!

| Hi Shoepk, I am also 5'8" and am trying to lose exactly 20 lbs so I will look great in a bikini. I'm 25 years old and 171. How much do you weigh? Just asking since we have very similar stats [age/height]. Maybe we could support eachother through this since I just started 3 days ago... |

| You have been given good advice about not trying to do induction in secret. You dont have to use the 'A' word if you feel that will raise hackles. Many people on this way of eating (not a diet) just tell their friends - "I have given up sugar and starchy foods and am eating more vegetables and exercising" and get praise for their sensible decision to stop eating 'junk' foods. If you tell them that and do your exercise and drink your water there is no reason you shouldn't be able to show your toned body off to your friends in your bikini top at the concert

| its nice to seen some tall girls here!! im 5'8 also ..and about 168 ish ...id luv to join u guys too..i over-indulged this weekend...and my 21st is on july 29th...so id like to look a little better for it : ) goodluck girls!! |
