Default finished first week of induction.....but!

This is my second time around - soon to be third! We went out to a german restaurant and boom!!! I had 3 Michelob Ultras! I did excellent with dinner - salad with turkey and eggs. Does this mean I need to start over? I'm thinking so! I'm sure the Low Carb beers are ok after induction, but I should probably start fresh?

I think you should just move on. Try to figure out why you had to have the beer so next time you can plan ahead and not do it! Your body will burn the alcohol for fuel first and depending on the amount of carbs and your ccl, etc will then go on to burning fat again. If alcohol is something you're really missing from your diet, consider moving to OWL once your two week induction is over.

I think you have two choices: to continue as you are, but extend induction an extra week, or to start over. The key is to have no alcohol for at least 2 weeks.....

Thanks! I will just add another week onto induction, then maybe onto owl. I appreciate the support!

BAD time of year for no beer eh?

I actually had a Coors lo-carb the first day I started induction...I hadn't gotten far enough in the book to the part where it said NO alcohol!

Better luck here on out!

I am on my first week, but I plan on drinking in 2 weeks at a concert. I have been planning for this concert for 4 months, and I am going to have fun. Hopefully it wont set me back too far. I will go low carb if it helps any, which I doubt it will.

But dont forget that drinking alcohol will delay any weightloss while your body uses the alcohol for fuel and stores your surplus food intake as fat.
