| Welcome to Atkins! I don't know about the sausages, as I don't eat them and haven't seen the packaging, but yes, Centrum Silver is fine!

| Hi and welcome. The best advice for anything you buy is to read the label. If the sausage doesn't contain sugar and/or fillers such as wheat crumbs, starches, etc. it will probably be just fine. Basically, if it ain't on the acceptable food lists for induction, don't eat it! |

| yeah, but thats where i get confused. it does say sausage on the list. but does that mean all types? like pre-made, pre-cooked? or do i have to buy it and make the links\patties myself??? it sounds simple to figure out, but maybe i just make to much out of it. i just dont want to cheat myself and think im doing things right, to find out that i've been doing it wrong all along.

| Hi again! You have great questions and I'm sorry that more people aren't answering quickly - the day after July 4 means, for a lot of people, that they have to "catch up" elsewhere!!!!!! You do NOT have to make your own sausages! Do two things when you look at the prepackaged. First, check the amount of carbs and sugars. Pick the lowest carbs and try to find those with no sugars or trace amounts. Then double-check the list of ingredients. You want to avoid all fillers that contain starches, etc. Last resort? Create a new thread called "sausages?" and ask people what brand they buy.....that will alert readers who eat sausage to respond! Good luck!
