| Welcome aboard! What a fantastic first day you had! Remember, though, if you DO get hungry a couple of hours after breakfast..EAT! That's the whacky thing about this way of eating - when you are hungry, you have to eat, and you have to eat FAT!

| Hi Jayme! Welcome to induction! You are off to a great low carb start! Be on the look out for the induction flu. Not everyone gets it but if you do take some ibuprofen and drink lots and lots of water and it will pass. My best advise to you, (other than coming here for support) is to take your measurements so that when the scale isnt showing any loss you can see your progress in how many inches you are losing. Many people get upset with the metal monster but your tape measure will be the proof. |

| Congratulations on your 1st day! I started re-Induction starting on July 3rd. If you stick to it through the cravings, it's really worth it! I've lost 6.5 pounds in less than a week. Your job really interests me. I wonder, do you ever get frustrated when people hit you up for free advice?? I'd like to ask you a few questions..... /KIM

| Welcome Jayme and congratulations for making the decision to change your life! Having done Atkins before, with this being my 2nd time around, I knew what to expect in the initial induction phase and made sure to have plenty of cooked and shelled shrimp, hard boiled eggs, olives and cans of tuna on hand to help me get through/ The biggest thing I noticed was come 1 or 2pm I wasn't falling asleep at my lab bench like I used to when I was eating sandwiches (with bread and processed meat). I find it's also very easy to pass up the breakfast room at work and the 2 for 1 pastry sale at Au Bon Pain ( damn it smells so good) when my stomach is fully loaded. Same thing when I go out to eat. I load up on cheese (3oz) and olives ( mingling olives = yummmm) before I head out to avoid ordering appetizers that are undoubtedly loaded with crap.Anyways, I am rambling now but welcome and use the board!!!
