| First, congrats in your weightloss. You don't mention your current weights, but a lot of our super-heavyweights (which i was firmly planted in the camp) lose 10-25 pounds the first two weeks. Normal weight loss is 5-10% of the amount to be lost with some people being more metabolically resistant and some not at all. As for what you are eat while on Induction, you have it basically down. I would encourage you to read all Induction Rules (http://atkins.com/Archive/2001/12/15-464579.html) and read the book if you haven't. There is more to this diet than eating meat and salad -- for example all meats are created equal and more veggies than just lettuce. Congrats on your success, and I just trying to help you be successful over the long haul as you have been for 2 weeks. Good job!

| You have the general idea of what the plan is all about, but you really do need to read the book so you know exactly what you are doing. I'm sure you want to maximize your weight loss and the best way to do that is through knowledge. We follow Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution, version 2002 (DANDR for short) so thats the book you need to get and read. Congrats on your weight loss so far, that's wonderful! Reading the book will help you understand how to progress along into making this a way of eating for life, so I urge you to get it and give it a thorough read. |
