Default Question about ketchup (maltodextrin)?

Hi all! I'm now on day 14 of induction, and am very pleased with the results. I've lost 21 LBS.... Only 79 more to go! LOL. Any way, my question is about ketchup. Let me say, I am a tomato freak. I love tomatoes in all forms, including ketchup (as long as its not too sweet). I've found a brand of vegetarian unsweetened ketchup called "Webstrae Natural" at publix. Nutritionals are as follows:

Calories-5, fat-0, cholesterol-0, sodium-70mg, carbs-1g (sugars->1g), protein-0.

The ingredients are: water, tomato paste (from red ripe tomatoes), apple cider vinegar, salt, onion, maltodextrin (from corn), spice, natural flavor.

This is per 1 tbsp. serving. I've read that maltodextrin is a complex carbohydrate, and does not cause blood sugar to spike. Would a tablespoon of this occasionally cause problems? I've seen a recipe for "boardwalk fries" made from a daikon radish and had been looking for an acceptable ketchup substitute to go w/ this and hamburgers. None of the 5 grocery stores in my area are carrying carboptions products any more, which is okay as far as ketchup goes... I tried it once before starting this and it was HORRIBLY sweet.
Any help with this would be appreciated!

Not sure on the ketchup, but wanted to say congrats on completing 14 days of induction and dropping those pounds!!!
