Default Philly Cheesesteak Casserole?

I wasn't totally sure where to post this, here or in recipes, but since I don't have a technical recipe I thought it would be okay here...
I'm in my 8th day of Induction and doing good. But I'd like to figure out how to make a few more things other than just what I've been eating and seeing as how I love Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches under other circumstances I thought I'd ask about this - I've made this once before just as something I came up with because I had what I needed to try it and no bread or rolls in the house for the sandwich. I cooked 2 lbs of ground beef and then sauteed some onions and bell peppers and layered the meat and veggies and cheese (I used Mozzerella at the time) and put it in the oven for about 45 minutes on low heat until the cheese got nice and melty and just ate it like that. It was actually really really good, totally had a cheesesteak taste to it and satisfied me wanting one that day. My question is, does that sound like something that's Induction friendly? The only thing I was worried about was the onions cooking up and caramelizing and getting sugary. Do you think Onion Powder would work and taste just as okay? I also thought about just cutting the portion down and maybe trying to do it like two thin hamburger patties on top of one another with the cheese and peppers inside...
Just looking for some other meal ideas Sorry again if this should have gone in recipes...I just wasn't 100% sure

It all sounds good to me, best yet...you get your meat, veggies, and fat all in one! I think that's a recipe I'm gonna have to try out

About the onions, I eat sauteed onions and mushrooms all the time, so I don't think that them caramelizing should be a problem.

I make cheesesteak all the time. I just cooked up some green peppers, onions, and mushrooms. Then cook the steakum or whatever other kind I use, add it all together and let it cook a little together for a little while. Then I mix it pieces of american or provolone cheese....awww man....it's the best!! It's also induction friendly!!

I'll have to try this as a new meal idea.
