day 3 check in | | | Well yesterday was a bit better. Managed to up my calories to 1661 which is at least getting close to my BMR(1775) but still a long way from my AMR(2475) but I am working on it. What is your opinion about the number I should shoot for. I know Atkins says don't count calories but I believe that they do have something to do with it. I am eating too low and could put my body into starvation mode if I continued and then I would have the nerve to think the plan isn't working. Are you of the opinion that a person should eat at or near their BMR or should they be shooting for a number between their BMR and their AMR? Or do you think it is okay to be several hundred below your BMR. The cool thing was that when I entered it all on fitday that my ratios were 65% fat, 5% carb, 30% Protein. I will probably never hit it that perfect again. The bummer thing was that I used all my carbs up so would have been hard to add more fat to this to bring my calories up. I still have a headache. Hope it goes soon. How much longer can it last? B:2 eggs fried in corn oil(was out of olive oil) S: 1 chicken leg L:Cauliflower Bisque 2 tuna 'muffins' S: 1 chicken leg cheese D: salad stuff peppers S: bacon and mozz quiche Can't say I am starving...LOL! Never Ending Induction Recipes http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...n-recipes.html You may encounter many defeats, but you must not be defeated. In fact, it may be necessary to encounter the defeats, so you can know who you are, what you can rise from, how you can still come out of it. ~Maya Angelo~ |
