Default Question :Soya milk in Uk

I got soya milk from Tesco yesterday and on its lable it is written


0.5 carbs per 100 ml

thats mean 1.25 carbs per cup

it si unsweeten
Is it allowed

Are you on induction, Sheed? if so then it is not allowed.

Soya milk is reintroduced once you are on the legume rung of OWL along with other soy products (and peanuts)

Thank you for your kind answer but i am still confused it is just less than 1.5 carbs per cup then what is wrong to drink it

The simplistic answer is 'Because Dr Atkins said so'. LOL
It isnt allowed on induction because it is made from a legume!
And as far as I remember only soy protein isolate and tofu of that family of foods are allowed on induction - the rest of the soya products are allowed when you have reached Rung 6 of Ongoing weightloss (OWL)

When Dr Atkins wrote his 'NEW Diet Revolution' he had realised that it makes a difference what kinds of carbs we eat (and in what order we reintroduce them) as to how effective this WOE is for us. We cant just have under 20 carbs of any food - we have to stick to the allowed list on induction
