Anyone had gallbladder surgery?

Just wondering if anyone has had their gallbladder out (had mine out this year, March). Because, I am not getting constipation, I am getting the opposite, and I am wondering if it might be because of that?....

That can also be a symptom of Induction Flu, and/or just a reflection of your body getting used to this new mixture of foods that you have introduced. It should settle down soon. Make sure you're getting enough fiber.

THe first week or two you will NOT be constipated. You will probably have loose bowels.

After that, the constipation can set in.

I doubt if it's related to the gall bladder...........hang in there!!!!!

I had mine out in '03. I had the opposite problem too but the more I stuck with this WOL it returned to normal. I didn't even have constipation problems. It's going to get better...just keep on keepin' on!

I've had the surgery years ago. My doctor told me that I would notice loose bowels if I ate greasy foods. If I remember correctly, he said that the gall bladder helped in digestion, especially with greasy foods. I'm starting day four of Induction and haven't had any problems either way.
